Join us and get involved – become a volunteer

There are many ways you can get involved and help make a difference for the program. Your involvement can be as little or as much as you like.  The program is run solely by volunteers, all whom have either lost baby/s themselves or have been touched by someone in their lives losing a baby/s. We are always in need of more helping hands, to ensure we continue to reach out to bereaved families across the state and nationwide.

We are looking for more volunteers to help with:

• Delivering bears and brochures to local hospitals
• Fundraising activities: BBQs, morning teas and awareness stalls
• Events: candle ceremomy, Butterflies for babies day, walkathon, quiz

Hospitals

The program offers the program to every birthing hospital across Queensland. If you would like to ensure the program is provided to families that suffer the loss of their baby's in your hospital please contact the Qld State Coordinator. We can provide you with our care packages (teddy bears, brochures and resource packs). Our support services are FREE and offered to maternity hospitals across Australia to further support bereaved families and provide access to our many support services including free telephone counselling.

Fundraising Opportunities

The program relies heavily on the generous support of the families that want to give back to the the program, community spirit and our fundraising ventures.  You can help raise funds for the program and make such a difference for other bereaved families.  We need your help to ensure we ensure the supply of our complete care packs, so that no family misses out on the much needed support provided by our program.

Teddy Bears

If you would like to donate a Teddy Bear/s for another bereaved family, in memory of your baby or a special baby you know, please visit our online store .

Monetary Donations

Donations are very much appreciated and greatly needed.  You can make your donation directly via our online credit card facility

Goods and Services Donations

If you or your business would like to donate any goods or services for fundraising opportunities such as prizes for raffles, items for our Bunnings BBQ’s (sauces, meat, bread) or anything else, please contact the Qld State Coordinator.
