Funeral Information

No parent ever expects to have to bury their child. Planning a funeral / memorial service and knowing where to start or facing all of the many decisions that you are faced with is so terribly heart wrenching. Just choosing a special song or knowing that there are songs that are written specific to the loss of a baby is hard to deal with.

We have shared other bereaved parents thoughts, ideas and suggestions that they have done or wish they did do. We hope the information provided in these pages helps you & that you find it reassuring to know it is alright to honour your baby however feels right for you.

Please know you can contact us and we will try our best to find or direct you to the information you are looking for. TLC has a lovely list of special songs, poems and verses. Some families have asked for people to bring teddy bears to their baby's funeral that are then donated to the TLC program in their baby's memory and some families ask for donations to the program in lieu of flowers.
