Wallerwang Warriors Charity Knock Out Competition

On Saturday the 27th March, I was extremely honored to be asked to travel to Wallerawang to attend a charity football match in honor of TLC. After a 2 and a half hour drive, and around 15 toilet breaks for my daughter Ava-Rhys, we finally made it to the field! The atmosphere was electric. Everyone was cheering and chanting at the football game! I got to meet Krystal, the amazing woman who had put TLC forward as the charity of choice for the football game.

I instantly felt a connection and am so proud of what she has achieved. Nathan and Krystal lost their beautiful boy ~Connor~ in 2008 and it was great to be able to share thoughts and experiences with such a courageous couple. We got settled in and set up our stall and many people stopped to thank us for being there that day.

The people were so kind and supportive and we felt so touched by the amount of people offering a hug, kind words and donations for TLC. Towards the end of the day I was fortunate enough to accept the cheque of $4,500 for TLC! What an amazing achievement!! Krystal and Nathan... You are amazing people. This donation will change the lives of many Australian families who will have to go through the pain and suffering that we know all too well.

A little piece of ~Connor~ will touch the lives of so many people! On behalf of everyone from TLC, we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
