Teddy Love Club - Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support
An angel in the book of life wrote down your baby's birth and whispered as he closed the book too beautiful for this earth.

How TLC Makes a Difference

Over the years Teddy Love Club Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support has been able to fundraise to further help the hospitals support bereaved parents. We have become aware just how important it is that hospitals are able to provide bereaved parents with keepsakes such as digital photograph memories of their baby/babies and special keepsake books that are designed for babies who have passed away.

We are proud to be able to help in these areas and it is from the help of others that we are able to raise the funds to be able to provide this extra help. We thank each and every one who has helped us to achieve this.

Donations from TLC

TLC has been able to donate much needed resources to hospitals across South Australia such as

  • Digital camera/printer to the Lyell McEwin Hospital & Ashford Hospital
  • Baby scales, memory boxes, treasured memories keepsake books & Digital Camera/Printer to the Gawler Health Service
  • Printer to the Modbury Hospital
  • Toiletry packs for bereaved parents for their unexpected hospital stays donated to WCH, Gawler Health Service & Lyell McEwin Hospital
  • Comfortable bed linen to Flinders Medical Centre

Memorial Benches

Teddy Love Club donated two memorial benches that were placed in the parklands opposite the WCH Adelaide. These benches are for everyone but importantly they are donated in honour of "all the precious babies little lost lives".

Willaston Cemetery Babies Memorial

Teddy Love Supported the Willaston Cemetery Babies Memorial

Gawler Council is working on a memorial garden at Willaston Cemetery dedicated to the 190 stillborn and neonatal babies that were buried there without ceremony between 1877 and 1986. The garden will include a small stone ruin with seating and a ceramic artwork, and will be a place of reflection for all. An opening is planned for late May.

Small ceramic plaques are to be designed for bereaved families who, having their babies buried here, would like to give them recognition. At this point there is no fee for this service. For more information please contact Heather Barclay at Gawler Council, on  (08) 8522 9222.

It is our aim to be able to help bereaved parents as much as we can with anything they may need. If there is something you or your hospital requires please contact us and we will consider your request.
